Baked Chicken Wings
Ahhh chicken wings. How I used to love thee. Actually, I still do. But for now, I am a vegetarian for health reasons. However, I still make these for my
family often because they are just that good.
You wouldn’t think baked wings would be crispy like fried ones – but these are! Thanks to Jo Cooks, I have an easy go-to recipe if I need to feed a large
crowd for a casual occasion.
RECIPE (adapted from Jo Cooks):
2 lbs chicken wings
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt (use Maldon sea salt if you like the added crunch – we do!)
METHOD:
Preheat the oven to 425F and line a baking sheet or two with unbleached parchment paper. In my experience, using aluminum foil results in slightly less
crunchy wings – probably because the paper absorbs some of the excess oil.
Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Place the wings onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
